Kickboxing is a form of martial arts that uses hands, elbows, knees and feet to strike the opponent. There are dozens of different styles across the world, originating from; Thailand, Holland, America, China, France and more! Kickboxing is a great way to increase your cardio-respiraatory endurance, coordination and focus! It's also a great way to relieve stress and find a new community on campus! Check out what styles we have to offer this quarter! Sanda is the dynamic Chinese kickboxing style that blends wrestling and striking, making it one of the most practical styles for sport, MMA, and self defense. Several traditional Kung Fu styles were blended to create this fast paced sport. You will get a great workout while learning fundamentals of Chinese wrestling, (Shuaijiao), Striking, Tai Chi, and Ba Gua. Taught by a Chinese trained, and a US national Sanda champion instructor.
