Shuaijiao Wrestling (Martial Art)

Shuaijio (Chinese Wrestling) - Shuaijiao, or Traditional Chinese wrestling, has a long and rich history in Chinese culture. Originating over 3,000 years ago, it was used as a military training exercise, then later adopted by the Chinese people as a way to improve their physical fitnness and self-defense skills. Currently, Shuaijiao is practiced by millions of people around the world that is included in the Asian Games. UFC champion Weili Zhang released videos of herself training in Shuaijiao prior to her MMA matches. Shuaijiao focuses on grappling and throwing techniques. It is a comprehensive wrestling style that teaches students how to use their body weight and leverage to control and takedown an opponent.

This class will teach you the fundamentals of Shuaijiao, including; Basic stances and movements, grips and throws, takedowns and escapes. No prior experience is necessary. All levels are welcome. Traditional Shuaijiao Jacket not required.
