My UCLA-NUS Executive MBA experience provided me with a strong foundation in global business strategies, leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures. These skills have been invaluable in navigating complex healthcare systems and leading international teams in my field of surgery.
Can you speak a little bit about your career and how it has progressed since graduating from UCLA?
Since graduating, I have embraced leadership roles that combine my clinical expertise with strategic management. I’ve implemented value-driven initiatives, led multidisciplinary teams, and played a key role in healthcare planning and education in Singapore.
How do you think UCLA prepares students to fill positions that have a global reach and influence?
UCLA fosters a global mindset through its rigorous curriculum, emphasis on leadership, and exposure to diverse cultures. The collaborative environment encourages students to think critically and innovatively, equipping them to take on influential global roles.
Are you involved in any international UCLA alumni groups or support networks?
Yes, I'm a member of the medical alumni community.
